Animal Encounters & Highlights
One of Zoo Melaka’s most popular experiences is the chance to get up close with its friendly elephants. Visitors can participate in elephant feeding sessions using sugarcane sticks provided by zookeepers for a small fee.
The bird aviary is another standout attraction, where vibrant parrots, majestic peacocks, and other colourful bird species can be admired within a walk-through enclosure — perfect for photography and relaxed exploration.
Families can also visit the petting section, where guests may ride or feed ponies.

Dinosaur Encounter at Zoo Melaka
Step back in time at the Dinosaur Encounter, recognised as the largest dinosaur park in Southeast Asia and the second of its kind in Malaysia.
Enjoy a guided walk through the park featuring over 128 life-sized dinosaur replicas, brought to life with sound and movement. The experience includes educational commentary on the Age of Dinosaurs, making it both entertaining and informative.
Beyond dinosaurs, the park also showcases Ancient Giants such as the Woolly Mammoth and Saber-Toothed Tiger.
Zoo Melaka Night Safari
Experience Zoo Melaka after dark with a tram ride through the Night Safari, where animals are active during their nocturnal hours.
