About this Package
Bau is a historic town located 22 km from Kuching, Sarawak. Known for its gold mining heritage from the mid-1800s, it now draws visitors for its stunning limestone caves and natural landscapes. The most famous site, Fairy Cave, features a stalagmite at the entrance said to resemble Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. Nearby Wind Cave offers a different caving experience with its cool tunnels and resident bats. Bau also has a rich cultural past with two significant historical events.
